Sabo's Woodside Nursery Inc. was founded in 1982 by nationally recognized rhododendron grower, James E. Sabo, his wife Donna and son Brian as a wholesale rhododendron nursery. Over the years it evolved to become a widely respected grower of hanging baskets, annuals and garden mums, supplying dozens of garden centers and landscapers with top quality plant material.

In 1992 the family opened the business for retail customers, and the public response was overwhelming. Each year shows growth, from expanding the garden center to improve product lines based on consumer needs and interests. Expansions continues through the introduction of new varieties of nursery stock and perennials. We now grow many of our own perennials - look for the lavender tags.

Strong supporters of the community, the Sabo family and garden center staff takes pride in their involvement in the community, making a difference beyond the workplace.
